๐ Happy New Year 2018 ๐ I shall come back to blogging frequently as of today to keep track of my daily life again. I miss blogging a lot, pouring out my thoughts and pinning memories on my online diary. Today Leroy and I went to Lakeside to explore the neighbourhood. I was so happy when he said we are going to Lakeside. I asked, for what? ๐ Leroy said since its New Year can't be both of us staying in right! ๐ I was like YAY its rare that we go out on weekdays recently. Leroy was like teasing me. He said, 'don't want ah? never mind lo' I was like ๐ Leroy was like joking joking. We arrived at Lakeside MRT. We were amazed at the Chef-In-Box VendCafeโข The vending machine cafe is quite cool with affordable prices. Their Rainbow cake was only at $4.50 whereas the average price is $6.50~$7.50 outside. There are still cute little munchies like Gingerbread Girl and Gingerbread Boy.

We bought bread from the bakery and went to embark on our adventurous journey to Jurong Lake. He is so cute, thought that there would be a fine dining restaurant beside the Jurong Lake to celebrate the New Year. ๐ฅ It was my first time exploring. It's pretty much a natural reserve kind of thing. I am quite surprised that there is such a huge lake in the middle of the neighbourhood. We were experimenting night photography with our phone cameras. ๐ท The photos turned out quite nice and Leroy commented they're wallpaper calibre LOL. We took our first welfies ๐ซin 2018 together with the beautiful night scene ๐ ๐with the crimson sky! ๐

I took a photo which I thought looks like an aftermath sky of a war with the blazing red backlight. Leroy commented it looks like we're in Sahara desert. Also, there are really nice condominiums behind us. I was mesmerized and stared at the architecture for awhile as I have always been interested in architectural design. There are some condominiums which very long balconies. I was telling Leroy how I don't like balconies that are too rectangular. And I was sharing how if I had that kind of balcony, I would put grass patch and beer crate wood floors on them. But I prefer slightly more squarish balconies to put a television and shelter on top, along with some table and chairs for high tea. ๐ต Leroy was like holy sheet how big do you want your balcony to be to be able to put a television in there. He also joked that next time our dates he can just bring me to Caldecotte and I can stay there the whole day to see architectural buildings. LOL.

Leroy mentioned something about fishing. I was like, here got fish meh? ๐ I looked to the right and saw people fishing. ๐ฃ Leroy was like, wa you burn them ah? ๐ฅ I was like omg ๐ฑ I didn't know there were people fishing here. This boy also hijacked a buggy car (just kidding). I told him I have sat on a buggy car before during my equestrian tenure in JC as the riding centre was too big.

We walked all the way from Lakeside MRT to Chinese Garden MRT. Actually its quite near. I saw a neighbourhood central and I suggested we could try to find a supermarket there for drinks. I saw really pretty lights in the shops. We found a good hotpot area~ Leroy said we should try it some day. We settled down for Tze Char. Since we pretty much ate not long ago, we had a light meal. We ordered Hotplate Venison, Sambal Kang Kong and Tom Yam Soup. Kid me not, the Tom Yam Soup was really hot. Oh well no one came to take order for drinks. ๐คท Leroy said the serving is quite big for the price.

A grasshopper landed on my hand eeee. ๐๐ฆ Leroy swapped seats with me. He asked if I rather have a planned itinerary for our dates or impromptu like today, go along with our mood and see where we end up. I told him actually today feels quite fun too. He was going for the adventurous feel. Leroy mentioned then for the Taiwan trip he would know how to plan if I prefer not having a fixed itinerary. I mentioned yeah, we could highlight and KIV those popular tourist spots and food but keep it flexible. There are some must go! He also shared with me about the tour guide he might engage again for our trip. We finished eating and headed for Jurong Point's Fairprice. I got a Spiderman Bed Sheet Set, Captain America Bed Sheet Set and Summer Blanket from MARVEL ๐คญ The summer blanket was for King Size bed though. We took the bus and went back to hall after that.

Today is my 21st birthday~!
Yes I know my birth date 22nd February is awesome because its triple 2.
Thank you Mum for buying 2 cakes for me from Breadtalk.
She asked if I want to put the candles.
I was like, aiyaaaa no need la.
I just ate the cakes and I gave my mum some.
My mum doesn't really like cakes and dessert kinda food.
Thanks Mum for the simple but meaningful 21st birthday celebration at home.
I prefer this than any lavish celebrations because it's more heartwarming and sincere. Time flies. I am already 21. As the saying goes, the older the wiser. I'll go above and beyond. โMerry Christmas 2015!! โ

Hello guys. I went to One Raffles Place to take a look at the the Doraemon Christmas Tree~
 
I think I forgot to mention about it,
But I bought an DSLR earlier this month and I wanted to test the DSLR out.
FINALLY~! After years of waiting, I finally got myself a DSLR.
I am quite interested in photography, particularly architectural photography.
So I went to snap some photos together with the one-of-a-kind Christmas Tree with my DSLR.

I went to Haji Lane today with my friends :D
I was pretty excited as I wanted to visit the place since long ago.
So I dressed up and wore my high heeled boots and
Brought my awesome pink bag with me.
So we made our way to Bugis.
But things weren't as smooth.
Just as we were about to step foot on the path to Haji Lane,
It started drizzling.
I was like wh-aaaa-t?!
So we went back into the mall and walked around for an hour.
After a long and torturous 15 minutes walk with my high heels,
(Along the way which my friend kept assuring us that we will be reaching soon T.T)
WE FINALLY REACHED,
But things weren't as pretty and gorgeous as what I saw on TV ._.
Why?!
So we kept walking..
Finally some beautiful architectures.
And so we made our way to the Malay Heritage Centre.

Welcome Back, Joan.
Hello Blog, and my non-existent Readers! It has been awhile since I blogged. A Levels has ended some time ago. I needed some time as buffer to fulfill my thirst for gaming, Currently I'm playing Pangya, I intend to return to DragonNest, Grandchase, Gunbound, Audition and maybe Habbo hotel. So I was nocturnal, playing games at night and sleeping in the day. I guess I have to live life the normal way and get some sunshine outside :D I plan to shop for clothes at Bugis tomorrow. I need to pack my room, throw away unnecessary stuff. My room is in a mess, like the aftermath of an earthquake. And I'm not being exaggerated here. So anyway.. I permed my hair!  |
